I'm applying to USC (southern Cal). For one of the short answers, I have to talk about my favorite activity. I chose photography. This is what I am saying. I think you guys will appreciate it. Criticisms are welcome too!!
Since the age of 9, I have felt comfortable with having a camera in my hand. My interest in photography began with my grandfather handing me a film SLR and a small digital camera while in a game reserve in South Africa. My grandfather’s action stimulated one of the greatest passions of my life. I now have a portfolio of over 20,000 photos. These photos range from locations around the world such as Honduras and Switzerland, to people and still life. My photographs have been published in an international magazine, and I have started my own photography business. Yet, whether I am taking a photo for a client, or hiking a mountain to get a single image, the excitement I experience as I peer into that view finder and capture a moment is pure bliss.
Ive done quite a bit of grammar changes, including sentence structure changes, but you get the point.
